The following list contains 10 word parts that indicate something about time and examples of how they are used. A word list follows; then, practice exercises allow you to define words that contain these prefixes, combine word parts, and use words correctly.

WORD LIST
The words in the following list include the word parts that you are studying in this chapter. Some of the words you have met as you reviewed the meanings of the word parts and sample words. Others you will learn as you complete the exercises and the quiz for this chapter. Most of the words you will need to answer the questions are found in this list. You can also rely on your own word knowledge and a dictionary, if you wish. Included in each word's listing is the pronunciation, part of speech, and definition.
